Please I want to know, Must you always have something you would like to do before learning any programming language? Let's me elaborate it well, what I want to know is that must it be that you must always have a project in mind before you start learning something?

No, not necessarily.

If you study something and practice properly and repeat what you learned with a good strategy, you will make progress even if you have no idea why you're even doing it.

On the other hand, it can be hard in the long-term to stick to it if you have no goal in mind. So when you've been doing it for a while and it's not so new and exciting anymore and you feel like watching Netflix is more interesting - then a good motivation, an aim, a purpose can help you go on.

You should set a goal for the reason why you're learning programming for, but if you just can't find a suitable goal but you love programming anyway: then keep learning and learning and then goals and projects will be on their way to your mind.
