In general web development is used html, css, javascript, php, MySQL, frameworks of css, javascript, rest api and so on.

But if you want to do web development through python then you can use it's wonderful web framework Django which is used to development of website through python
In my opinion for web development web language are more good to use for easy development

As because if you started to learn python then their is machine learning, iot, artificial intelligence which is the modern technology you can work up on

So first clear your goal in which technology you want to work python or web development

If you want to be a Back-End developer, python is good. It depends on what do you want. For example, i love to make web apps, apis, and real-time web apps, for that i use Node.js(A JavaScript framework), javascript and html
