So I use notepad++ on my PC and I was wondering if I needed more software to run codes like php and more.

I'm just learning how to use php and they said something about an operator to preform the coding and I don't have internet for my PC right now. can I just use the notepad I have without additional software?

PHP scripts can't be run directly on browser , you must a have a server, you can use Software like xampp or Wamp on PC
