What programming language should I learn for artificial intelligence ?

Hi this is Shohag, I'm a under graduate student on computer science. I just started leaning coding. I've learnt C and C++. As I know that these language are for hardware level programming. I'm interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Which language should I learn for this?

prolog, some SQL is nice.

There's currently an AI course on edX that uses Python.

As I know SQL is for database programming.
