I'm here because I realised as a designer there is no point to offload scripting on to someone else when I can learn to do it myself :P Dun wanna be lazy.

I wanted another learning resource. Books can be so mind numbingly boring.

That I can appreciate. Solo Learn is amazing, compared to all the other things I've looked at this has helped me progress fastest.
