Which data type is used to mark the absence of parameter??

In C++ there is no None value, so you have to use a suitable default values for the default parameter and check in the function wheather the value of the parameter is the the choosen default value which shows you the absence of this parameter.
Maybe there is a better way in the latest C++ 20 (or so), I have switched to Python for 10 years, which is more convinent for my purpose.

Including? Floats? Please explain more clearly which problem you have. Maybe you have code which does not work, in this case please post it else it is impossible to help you.

Absence of parameter is not a value therefore it doesn't need data type, it is just a keyword of "undefined" or "null".
