Migrate an aplication in vb 6.0

Question

Hi there. I need to migrate a desktop application made with vb 6 cause it sees so older and I want to made it more modern. The application works with a database in access and documents in excel. Any suggestion of what kind of program is more easy to reprogram the aplication? Thanks.
