Is it possible to make a simple game without using a site that charges to test it and do everything else, and do you need a team

depends on the complexity and your talents. for a 3D triple A title like Call of Duty or Battlefield you would need a very large team composed of people with many different skills from engine development, graphic design, sound and music etc.. For a 2D game you can take most if not all these roles if you can sort of draw and are not completely tone deaf. any game development takes time so be prepared for the long haul.
