In HTML file do something like:
<form action="receiveData.php"method="post">
Name: <input type="text" name="name"><br>
Age: <input type="number" name="age"><br>
<input type="submit">
</form>

While in php file do something like

$_POST["name"]

To get the data "name" that's submitted from the form
