Please can anyone help me clear my doubt?

Question

While internal CSS styling, do we use this syntax for commenting {that being (/* */)} or the comments that are followed by HTML {that being (<!-- -->)}?

I'm not so used to CSS styling, I have an average knowledge in CSS. Kindly help me with the doubt..
