What programming language should i learn first in order to program an arduino?

If you want to use Python, use a raspberry pi instead!

Also there’s tons of open source code for Arduino written in Arduino. It’s great for adding things like special sensors, because people have probably already written an Arduino library for it.

C/C++ but according to this, even Python can be used indirectly to communicate with Ardunio.
