HOT TODAY

Question

How is the hot today rating done. And it's not a day but sometimes 2 to 3 days. Why this.

I have checked the QA but no related question..

There was a related question not quite long but may have been removed by mod.

Code remaining at the top for at least 2 days is as a result of the new update nothing more.

Pranav pratap Singh I'm aware of that. Qudusayo said he searched and didn't find, I'm just letting him know such question was asked in the past.
As for the answer to this/that question, we can get a definite one as members flock in answers based on what they experience and can be different from mine. It could be a bug, it could be as a result of the update.

Hot today does not mean that it was posted today but that it continues to receive a large number of views or upvotes today.
