yes unais it's totally possible for someone to hack your phone using your phone number but you can prevent this by:
hiding your ip when you visit dangerous sites
do not give your credientials to anyone that you don't know
question people who give mysterious links
always hide your identity on the internet eg Captain marvel

just becareful there's also a change thats just a scam, they could get your data from possibly old leaked data from certain services.
