Do I need to be good at math for programing?

Not necessarily. It depends what would you use programming for. If you just want to be an app developer, basic math is suffice. But if you are learning programming for research or academic purpose (using f# for formalating), then u need more advanced math

I think maths are a very useful tool for programming, its better to code when you know the fundamentals of maths. Especially in the operations of the programs.
