I honestly haven't thought of anything someone couldn't web-enable, so if it works and you like it...use it?

A wild shot: Some people like jQuery + jQueryUI + jQuery mobile; getting lots of widgets, CSS automation and quirks control between browsers. It has plugins (like charting) and supports interactive/persistent connections (AJAX, websockets)...
