Tips for getting into coding

I am pretty slow at learning things and having a tough time learning some of these concepts as it’s going ahead so fast without giving me a chance to attempt it myself through the modules. Any tips?

1. You need to be consistent, that is follow your study plan and don't jump from one language to another.
2. Don't rush over the lesson.
3. Practice what you learn step by step.
4. Try doing some code challenges and practice writing your own code .
5. Try doing some projects either as an individual or as a group or team.

Give yourself a study plan for everyday, about how much time you should at minimum study programming every day.

I would suggest learning by example. Find tutorials for things that you actually want to build (keep it simple or you'll get confused). This way you'll have fun while learning instead of just reading text and not knowing what to do with the information.
