What is the use of <br/> tag within table cells? Obviously it moves to the next cell right?

<br> tag ( check this Q&A Discussion thread about the ending slash '/': https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/152499/hey-what-s-the-difference-with-br-and-br ) always provide same and unique behaviour: breaking line in a text stream. In a table cell as well, without "moves to the next cell right" ^^
