Can i learn XML or XAML for xamarin android development??

sorry if this is a stupid question, i know only C# i want to make android apps with xamarin but i m confused there can i learn xml or xaml what is the different is this same? help please

The only difference b/w xml and xaml is that 'a' which stands for application. So there is no any great different between them they are just markup languages.
