Is it okay to use iframes?

Question

I keep reading about how it's bad to use them for sites, but what about if it's just a personal page? I was thinking about having some to display info from some online games I play on the page so I wouldn't have to open a whole new tab to check it. The page is locally hoasted on my machine so others would be using it,but I'm also doing this project to get better at web stuff and most things I've been reading says iframes are not good to use. Is there an alternative for what I wanna do or is the iframes idea okay?
