IDLE on Chromebook

Hi,
I am considering buying a Chromebook, and I found out that in most cases it is possible to “install” linux on a Chromebook, and then Python with IDLE.
Is there anyone who has some experience with this, and can tell me if it works properly?

blackwinter none of your link is usefull here🧐. I thing you misinterpreted Danny Mientjes question, he/she wants to know how is it feels to work with python IDLE on a chrome book 🙂🙃

Danny Mientjes In my opinion, Mac is much better option but the only thing I don't like about it is it's high price.

I think it also depends a lot on how powerful the chromebook is and what you are up to. Screen size is also not unimportant in my opinion.

Thanks Blackwinter, Arsenic an Denise, for your attempt to help.😄 But, what is your thought on this? Do you think it's an good idea to buy a chromebook? Or rather buy a Mac?
