Is your Java/bin folder in your system PATH?

You need to set the Java/bin folder to system PATH variable. Just follow the following steps. 1)From the desktop, right click the Computer icon. 2)Choose Properties from the context menu. 3)Click the Advanced system settings link. 4)Click Environment Variables. 5)In the section System Variables, find the PATH environment variable and select it. 6)Click Edit. 7)If the PATH environment variable does not exist, click New. 8)In the Edit System Variable (or New System Variable) window, specify the value of the PATH environment variable. Click OK. 9)Close all remaining windows by clicking OK. 10)Reopen Command prompt window, and run your java code.

Make sure that you click okay and close both the Environment Variables and Advanced system settings windows. After doing that make sure you open a new command prompt. Go back and check your path if it doesn't work.
