How to remember functions and indexes and whatnot

So I'm a beginner. Whenever I do code coach challenges, I always get stuck regardless of difficulty. I think it's because I either can't remember the technical terms and don't know their applications, or I don't know python can do something I want it to do.

1.) First you need to understand. Don't hurry, take your time, concentrate. Don't force yourself forward, although you're confused.

2.) Then you must apply what you theoretically understood. Use it in the smaller or larger codes you write, as often as possible. Now you get for the first time the feeling that you really understand.

yes...
python can do an about 1000 sides book.
Here and there one side of knowledge lack may occur.

Get a python cheatsheet for beginner and have it by hand if u code.
The rest us practice as HonFu said.
