Im at html5 web api. Is it better to start learning css and JavaScript before continuing further with html5?

I've just started learning html5 web storage lessons. I saw a comment saying, it's better to start learning CSS and JavaScript here onwards.is that true?

I think this is true. HTML5 comes with CSS and Javascript. Without those is not a complete learning
