You might want to use whatever is more comfortable for you, Netbeans is a very popular one and you can find lots of tutorial about it. But you can use anything, even a notepad. Just be sure that it can fulfill your needs.

I used NetBeans for small time then IntelliJ. and since, I use IntelliJ! I think It's better.
