Insufficient Xp's

Question

I had been doing so many courses and earning Xp's through hardwork but whenever in a course i answer anything wrong(whether it be only a question also)many Xp's get reduced.
I gave a module quiz at the end of my HTML course and because I answered only question wrong I got only 4 Xp's. Moreover, I've seen so many learners having so many Xp,s in just a single course , I want to know how they get SO MANY XP'S? (In just one course)!!!!!!!!
