What is the reason to expired challenge in just 3 hours?

What would be the reason to expired challenge in just within 3 hours because one person challenged me 3 hours ago. We are in the same region means in same country but I got all challenge expired. So my question is what would be the reason?

But why it happens. Why it takes so much time. What would be reason.

As @Nandini Chaudhary said the cause.
And It's sender reason.
One can make Challenge from profile-challenge, then immediately expire counts starts, but we don't need to answer and send to opponent immediately.. We can do it and sent before expire it.. Other can answer it before expire it. So it's challenger reason to answer and send to opponent...
So other one is reserved challenges for you but sent you before 3hr of expires..
