I m a computer science student nd i want to know important courses for it.

Actually i have recently joined engineering college nd my trade is computer science.But the problem is i have a little or no knowledge about computer.So i just want u to tell me which courses i should do so that i get to know important knowledge about it.

Although it is not necessary for you to learn anything as they will teach you everything from the very beginning.
But still knowing a programming language always helps so I highly recommend you to choose any one programming language (course available on sololearn and/or onli e) of your choice.

1) Python
2.1) HTML and CSS
2.2) JavaScript
3) C++ or Java depending on University

CS topics:
1) recursion
2) Basic sorting algorithms like quick sort, merge sort, selection sort, bubble sort etc + binary search tree

If you master half of my suggestion you would have an upper edge in your classes.
