The scroll effect on websites like tumblr and thinkpeaks

Question

When you visit the sites above on laptop or desktop (I haven't checked on mobile), and scroll down, there is this effect that happens; the page below moves up to occupy the previous space, and it brings the illusion like you're not actually moving from page 1, but you're viewing the other pages like slides. Does anyone know what that effect is called? Or some documentation about it?
