Could you tell me how to go about this?
I just started learning programming (i decided to start from the basics, learnt a liitle CSS and HTML). Later, i decided to try my hands on real programming languages. I find my computational and problem solving skill very poor. I always tend to look problems as a whole, trying to break them down always makes me uneasy. I hated maths grewing up, but I have made up my mind to really learn programming and possibly improve on the necessary math skill i would need along the way. So are there any books, courses you can recommend that will improve my problem solving skill which i have come to notice is a building block in programming? Thank you.

If you are interesting in problem solving in a programming way you can join Hacker Rank. The website has beginner level problems you can solve using tutorials and then as you learn more there are many other problem solving sites. Best way to start is by practice, books may not be as helpful because coding is a practical field.
Anyways, it's great that you have decided to challenge yourself with problem solving. Your programming skills should definitely improve by this.
