Explain CRUD

Question

Can someone please explain CRUD in a beginner's context?

Create Read Update and Delete and in many cases "L" for listing

Create a program ... Run / Test the program ... Update the program ... Delete the Garbage you don't really need ... and Run the program to dispense the whole datasets you wanted the program for to begin with ...

At least that is my simplified explanation...
