What projects would you recommand for a beginner in java ?

I learned a bit about java in a month or so i can use multiple methods and most of the basic stuff and multi-classes ,I created small projects like simple banking application and tic tac toe nothing with GUI yet tho ...
So what projects you think is good for beginner level and can improve my skills in my first programming language ? Java is so cool so far hehe

I usually recommend to implement what's useful for you (a calculator of anything you need, a cleanup job etc.). This will bring most topics to you step by step and you'll have additionally the benefit from it's results. For learning all kind of small games are great. With a little experience you should create some codes as exercises for patterns. And you could get inspired by the code coaches and community challenges.
