Does preprocessing makes our code faster?

let us assume that we have two code

#define fun() ........... // suppose we define it .

int main()

call that function 1000 times;
}
2). #include<bits/stdc++.h>

void function()

//definition
}

int main()
{
call that function 1000 times;
}

so which one is faster 1 or 2

It doesn't matter. Because, as the name suggests preprocessing happens before the execution of the code. Thus doesn't affect the execution time.
