Is there a way to filter my activity feed posts.
I see a lot of feed posts from simply meaningless to extremely annoying ones. Most of these posts are by people I am not following. 1. Is there a way to filter the posts? 2. If I can't can I block a user's feed post from showing up? 3. If I can't do 1 & 2, if I block a user, will is feed posts still show?

1. There is no way to filter activity feed by limiting to posts by users you are following.
2. If you block a user, he cannot message you (see "blocked"). He cannot see everything you posts (posts, codes, answers, questions, etc).
3. You are right, most users will feel sad if they notice that you have blocked them.

I think you wouldn't receive any notification after blocking the use and also you will not get any message from to that particular user. You can not only block that user from main activity feed but also you'll stop receiving messages from that user. Yes, follow the instructions gave by Gordon
But when I was not following(means 0) any user, I had only 2-3 extra posts and my posts only.

𝐊𝐢𝐢𝐛𝐨 𝐆𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥 🍻 glad my answer is of helpful information to you.
Actually your answer is still valid, because from the asker's original meaning, he wants to filter by person (limit to posts only by users he is following), which is not possible.
Because SoloLearn feed algorithm tends to feed "popular" or "useful" posts to users.

Gordon I was not asking about how to disable feed posts in my activity feed. I just want to filter the posts in some way. I guess it is not possible. I still want to see relevant posts from those I follow

For suggestions, you have to write to info@sololearn.com

Click avatar at upper right
Click the three dots at upper right
Choose Setting
Choose Activity Feed
Switch everything off.
Take for example, who has play challenge with whom is definitely something I am not interested in.
Leave only the codes switched on, and deselect most user you are following, only keep those who post useful codes.

If I block a user what are the implications? Can the user still message me or view my posts? Are there any other implications?
Because it does not feel appropriate to block a user just because I don't like seeing his/her posts

The best way to filter your feed post is by unfollowing such person. Ore

Gordon Thanks. I really wish Sololearn adds this feature in the future.

𝐊𝐢𝐢𝐛𝐨 𝐆𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥 As I said, most posts in my feed are from people I don't follow.
