Why isn't the dash amount accurate?

Question

In the function displayTable(), if outputs a dash below the player name (forming a mini table). It should display as many dashes as the player's name size. But inputing a very short name and very long name doesn't work, it's off by a couple a spaces. How can I fix this. To see it, input "Dan" or any long gibberish.
