Is there OCR (optical chararcter recognition) in Machine Learning Course?

I have started learning Machine learning course here and I am hoping at the end of this course I might be able to learn to create a OCR model.

Hello. I created a neural network framework for .Net called Neftis and included an example of character recognition with a madaline network. The code for this is on the examples section of the web site. The complete dowload is about 1.0MB and the framework is free to use. You can check it on:
