I tried my first challenge and it was confusing! First of all, how many seconds do you have to make an answer before you lose the round?

You get 40 seconds to complete one challenge yes if you have started you will face a bit of difficulties but as you play more and more challenges you will learn

The time for answer is depend of the quest level. Sometimes you have more time if the quest is hard. Challenges are generally some kind an entertainment. It helps strengthen gathered knowledge. Useful for beginner to learn.

Well, I actually learned from that challenge, that there is definitely not much time to analyze the code for a correct answer. You have to take a quick decision whether you are not quite sure about the answer is right or wrong.
