i personally like 2 things

1. we can choose our desktop environment, so with lower end device we can choose lighter desktop.
2. not relying so much on Visual Studio like windows. i had very limited internet connection, and Visual Studio was gigantic for me(it still is though). there are times when we need to compile the source code by ourself, and it will require VS build tools or something
