Can someone get a android developer job with a commerce background in a startup?

I've personally worked in engineering, accounting, and now software development. All jobs were totally unrelated but each has transferable skillsets which is what employers want. With enough personal coding experience and perseverance, you can easily do whatever you want. Just expect to start from the reasonable entry position given your experience level.
