Why the java has this much big compiler

l don't think the size of the compiler should be this much big, it is really big

Java programs run on a virtual computer, that you install on your system, called the Java Virtual Machine. So the jdk installer contains more than just the compiler.
Think of it as a Daemon Tools virtual dvd drive
