How can I make a hidden navigation bar

I want the nav bar to be

At the left top corner
& on clicking on it the nav bar appears just like slides down
And it becomes a

cross
and when clicking on this X the nav bar again disappears

2. Use react
3. Make it using vanilla js
hint: toggle button on click function to hide/show element
4. Make it using pure css
check box labeled as button
to show/hide element

Anyway, the all above mentioned ready solutions are in codepen already exists.
