HTML(markup Language) is used for web development &
C++(programming language) is best for game development..
You cannot use C++ in web dvelopment. Well, you could, but that would take too much time and work for a small result easier achieved with other languages like PHP or ASP.

I think you are new in programming line, No problem

See, If you wanna be a web Developer so, learn HTML .Which is main in Web Development. And HTML is easy too ,After HTML you have to learn CSS and Js [ a scripting language].

If you wanna go in field of game devlopment or wanna get familiar with programming so C++ is nice choice

HTML is Markup Language and C++ is programming language .Thats why there is no comparison between both of them .

It kinda depends on what you want to do but I will choose C++ because for a beginner it may be easier to learn.
