C# is great language with help of Xamrin and Visual Studio you can create applications for almost any platform. Just go ahead :)

It's also great for making games, use it with Unity and you'll develop a great game. Of course you need to know some graphic designing, animating, sound editing and have creativity! But definetly a great and useful language.
