What are the programming languages that are in more demand in the global professional market?

I wanted to know what programming knowledge do the companies need from the next wave employees or freelancers.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me, just so i can know where to get started and what languages to learn next.

don't you think it depends on that particular company? For instance, if they make games, will they prefer Python? highly unlikely. They may need C++/C, C#... If you wanna work in a company like Ericsson, knowing Erlang will put you in the front.

So, instead of knowing all the mainstream languages, pick in which sector/field/company you want to work for? then pick the language(s).

btw, Python is a popular choice when it comes to AI; however, e.g. the core of "TensorFlow" was written in C++. Big companies always want the performance to save cost. And C++ is one of the best in AI.
