It depends, Linux is great, but sometimes it comes down to how you feel about the system. I personally use Ubuntu, but if you are used to Windows, I’d use that.

To be honest, no single OS is perfect for something, each has its drawbacks and each has its upsides.

Linux allows for the user to do anything to the OS, so if your going to be server hosting locally, that may help
Windows is widely used, so 3rd party apps and OS specific things are not a problem
And finally...
Mac has really good security, but it requires people to install Homebrew on it to actually program a lot (I think), so if your making something that has very private info or something else like that, Mac is a good option. (Dont quote me though)

You can use any Windows, Mac OS or Linux for web development
