It depends on what kind of app you want to develop, after finishing these courses you still wont be able to make a good app i would say, but it is a good start for those who want to advance even further.

You should decide what kind of app do you want to develop, and then choose a language which is most suitable for your goals

I can shortly cover 3 languages.
Java is really good to learn if you want to develop android apps.

Python is good if you are planning to work with AI and machine learning

C++is generally good for creating games

UPD: When working with social media, knowledge of php would help you a lot, but there is much more alternatives then those i've listed, these are just single examples.

I've developed a social media app for Android using XML and Java. You can use many languages to do it such as Java, Kotlin, Flutter for Android. Swift for iOS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL for Web.
