Like all other languages, even spoken languages such as English, you can't learn it all at on go, and you also can't learn it without practice!

If it is something you are interested in you could try out JavaScript game development with the HTML5 canvas element, as game dev will need you to learn more about the language you are using and is ridiculously helpful for practice

If that might be too much, you could always just start from somewhere, anywhere at all will do, so far you keep going!
