Are comments on codes considered for badges?

Question

I have a small doubt. For the badges - Respected Citizen and Comment Master, are comments on codes also considered or just the comments on lessons/quizzes in courses?

I got the good citizen badge for posting a comment in a course...i don't think that it's for code comments as I posted a comment on a code with 5 upvotes but I didn't get any badge:-(

@Dayve : Okay then. But it would have been better if code comments too are considered. They are the only thing not related to badges/stats.
