Are html and web more beneficial than other languages?

I am new here, and I'm seeing most of the people making programme on html and web. Are they more beneficial and widely used than other languages

Most of people uses web because you can create Buttons, great design ,games and many more.

In other languages it is possible to do those things, but that is not supported in Sololearn.

Yes, web is beneficial, but most of people do it coz approx all things of web ,you can do here but not of other languages 🙂

html and web are the most easiest/accessible way to build GUI (Graphic User Interface) application... other languages could also, but as that's not their primary purpose, it implies learning specific frameworks (related to language used and more or less to platform targeted) and how to interface them with the language ^^

anyway, on sololearn only web projects could handle GUI: other languages are limited to CLI (Command Line Interface)... in a limited way (no real interaction)...

all that are the reasons why you could see a great part of project in sololearn to be web ;P however, a lot of them aren't much useful (test/practice codes wich should habe been keeping private) :D
