How to apply cursive font-style ?

I tried to do it but it always came in normal text I used code <p;font-style:cursive>text</p> please help me solve this problem i so badly wanna use cursive font style

You could style it as "italic". Or use em or i tag

<em>Emphasis</em>
<i>Italic</i>

if it is inline styling use -<p style="font-family: 'cursive' , sans-serif"></p>
if it is external css or internal css use p {
font-family: 'cursive' , sans-serif;
}
