HTML - what am I doing :)

I am making my webpage with some web-builder program, which to me is a lot easier than html, which I am not sharp enough in...
However, have two questions;
1) Should I go to do my page through Wordpress?
2) WTF is this? :-D How come this code becomes so long as it is not that much on the page itself. I am worried, that my webbuilder-program is adding a lot of unusuful code, which eventually will kill the performance of my site?

It won't affect the performance of the website but there are things you can remove to make the code smaller that won't affect the use..
